CAPE COAST ZONAL MAJLIS ANSARULLAH HOLDS FIRST RALLY AT CAPE COAST CENTRAL MOSQUE

The Cape Coast Zonal branch of Majlis Ansarullah, Ghana, held its first Annual Zonal Ijtemaa on 18th August 2024 at the Cape Coast Central Mosque with participants from the three circuits in the zone namely Cape Coast East, Cape Coast West and Edukroum Circuits.

The rally held on the theme Organizing Peaceful Election: The Role of a Nasir” saw participants engaged in religious and sporting competitions including Janaza Prayers, Quran reading and religious quiz and ludo.

Maulvi Abdul Hameed Sawiri, the Abura Zonal Missionary in an opening address advised members to raise their standard of prayers and pray for Allah’s help. He advised that as Ansarullah, members should pray for their wives and children so that they will be obedient to Islam and be good to society at large.

In his welcome address, the Zonal Nazim, Mr. Alhassan Kassim urged members as elders of the Jama’at to step up their efforts, reminding them that they have fewer years to live.

The Central Regional Nazim, Mr. Mubarak Yakub, who was the main speaker on the theme advised that, as the 2024 national elections approach, the electorates should bear in mind that all powers belong to Allah, Who appoints leaders from among the people.

The Regional Nazim admonished members to be tolerant to each other and accepts the fact that there is no place like your own home and further called on all to appreciate that opposing party followers are not enemies. Mr. Yakub urged members to maintain a peaceful demeanor so that they can justly encourage their wives, children, and neighbors to do the same.

The function was chaired by Dr. Musah Dankwa, the Abura Zonal Nazim, who represented the Sadr, Majlis Ansarullah Ghana. Dr. Dankwa in his remarks, congratulated the Cape Coast Zone for successfully holding their first annual Ijtemaa and encouraged them to fully participate in the pending regional and national Ijtemaas at Mankessim and Kumasi respectively.
