The Upper East Regional Majlis Ansarullah of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community successfully convened its annual Ijtema’a (rally) on Sunday, 20th July 2025, at the Ahmadiyya Central Mosque in Bolgatanga. This spiritually enriching event was celebrated under the theme, “Promoting Unity and Retaining Members in the Jamaat: The Role of Ansarullah,” drawing 89 enthusiastic members from across the region, including the Walewale, Bolgatanga, and Nalerigu Zones.
The gathering was chaired by Jaladeen Abdullah Esq., Naib Sadr of the Northern Sector, who lauded the efforts of the regional leadership in fostering unity and advancing the mission of the Jamaat. The proceedings were expertly coordinated by the Regional Nazim, Mr. Abdul-Wahab Adam Hamid.
In his welcome address, the Regional Nazim, Mr. Abdul-Wahab Adam Hamid, expressed profound gratitude to Allah Almighty and extended heartfelt greetings to all attendees at what he termed a blessed regional climax. He emphasized that the event was the result of dedicated collaboration among all zones, serving as an important platform to reaffirm loyalty to Khilafat, strengthen spiritual brotherhood, and nurture personal piety. Drawing upon the Holy Qur’an, Hadith, and the writings of the Promised Messiah (عليه السلام), he urged members to exemplify humility, sincerity, and service, mentor younger generations, and engage actively in moral and spiritual reform. He reminded attendees that true success is found not merely in numerical strength but in drawing closer to Allah, serving humanity, and embodying the ideals of being “Helpers of Allah.”
Delivering the keynote address on the theme, Maulvi Abass Bin Alhassan inspired members to become ambassadors of peace within their homes and communities. He highlighted that by living in peace, tolerance, and compassion, Ansarullah members can embody the true teachings of Islam and engage in a powerful, silent form of Tabligh that positively influences the wider society.
Several distinguished guests graced the occasion, including Mr. Bashirudeen Yakubu Hillia, Former Regional President; Alhaji Karim Jacob Jabong Duut Lambon; and Mr. Karim Abdulai Isaahaque, Former Walewale President. Their presence further enriched the event, reinforcing its spirit of unity and commitment.
The rally concluded as both a profound spiritual renewal and a joyful celebration of unity within the Jamaat. Participants left invigorated and inspired to uphold the noble values of Islam Ahmadiyyat and to dedicate themselves to promoting peace and harmony in their communities.
