The Sekyere East Zone of the Majlis Ansarullah, Ghana, held its 2025 Annual National Ijtemaa on 15th June 2025 at Asokore T. I. Ahmadiyya Girls Senior High School in the Sekyere East District of the Ashanti Region. The Ijtemaa, held under the theme “The Rewards of True Words and Obedience to Allah,” was attended by members from all the circuits within the Zone.
In his welcome address, the Zonal Nazim, Mr. Mohammed Saeed Clement, expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for the impressive attendance and called on members present to ensure they duly benefit from the discourses at the Zonal Ijtemaa.
The chairman for the occasion, Mr. Ahmed Boampong, the Ashanti Regional Nazim, in his remarks, reminded members of the Majlis that though Ansars refer to Helpers of Allah, it is rather the members who really need the help of Allah. He called on members to be steadfast in their worship of Allah, the Creator, and not give excuses when it comes to doing the will of Allah.
Speaking on the theme, Malik Kofi Mohammed, Sekyere East Zone Naib Nazim Umumi and Isha’at, emphasized that true worship of Allah requires sincere obedience, fear, and allegiance to Him and His messenger. He stressed that worship is accepted when one follows these conditions, including loyalty to the Khalifa in the Ahmadiyya community, which leads to Allah’s blessings. He highlighted that true believers may face trials to test their faith but will be rewarded with righteousness, peace, and gardens in paradise. Mr. Mohammed was emphatic that the Promised Messiah and the Quran reinforce that devotion brings spiritual progression, and steadfast belief converts fear into security. He added that prayer and loyalty to the representative of the Prophets are central to this true worship and obedience. He concluded his speech with a call for steadfastness and faith in Allah’s endless blessings.
In his address, the Ashanti Regional Missionary, Maulvi Sayed Neematullah Taier, emphasized that members of Majlis Ansarullah have a special role and duty bestowed upon them by Allah and the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), which they must uphold with great sincerity. He stated that they are the Helpers of Allah, like their noble Ansar predecessors who firmly supported Islam, and that the title of Ansar carries immense responsibility as they are the heads and pillars of their families, whose conduct and leadership set an example for others. Maulvi Taier highlighted the institution of Khilafat in Ahmadiyyat as a profound blessing from Allah that guides towards good conduct and spiritual success. He cautioned that any harm to Khilafat would be attributed to the Ansar, while praise and success would also be credited to their efforts. He further stressed that their responsibilities as family heads should align with the will of God and the teachings of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him), urging them to impress upon their children the importance of adhering to the Holy Quran and Sunnah, and to be role models whose virtues their children will imitate. The Regional Missionary cautioned them to be mindful of their own behavior, noting that children learn more from actions than words. He advised them against lies or conduct contradicting Islamic principles and emphasized monitoring their children’s access to social media to protect them from harmful influences. Maulvi Taier concluded by urging careful attention to children’s upbringing in an atmosphere filled with the fear of Allah, so that they grow into upright, God-fearing individuals who will carry forward their faith’s legacy. He expressed hope that by fulfilling these responsibilities diligently, they would strengthen their families, Majlis, and the Khilafat itself.
The Sekyere East Zonal Naib Nazim Umumi, Mr. Hamza Fehey, read the annual report of activities undertaken by the Sekyere East Zone Majlis Ansarullah in the past year.
In fraternal messages, the Sekyere East Zonal Missionary, Maulvi Mohammed Quaye, called on capable members to make sacrifices to support the Jamaat in the Northern parts of Ghana as requested by the Ameer Sahib. The Qaid Isha’at, Mr. Dawood Abbas, stressed the need for members to follow the annual work plan of the Majlis to benefit from the associated blessings. He further called on the participants to equally prepare for the pending regional and national Ijtema’a ahead of time.
