The Mankessim Zonal Majlis Ansarullah held its 2nd Annual Zonal Ijtema’a on 30th-31st May 2025 at the Enyan Maim Central Mosque under the theme “Exploring the mutual rights and obligations of spouses as outlined in the Holy Qur’an and the Hadith – The role of the Ansarullah.”
The first day’s activities included a workshop briefing on the outcome of the National Shoora held in Kumasi earlier in the year and listening to Huzur’s Friday Sermon with Jummah prayers. Other activities held on the first day were games to foster unity and a religious competition testing knowledge of the Qur’an, Hadith, and Jama’at traditions.
The second day session was dominated by dars and speeches, including a health talk by Dr. Edu Mohammed, and the keynote address by Maulvi Hafiz Abdul Samad Boateng on marital rights and responsibilities from the Qur’an and Hadith. Dr. Edu Mohammed, in his speech, highlighted the importance of physical well-being in serving Allah, while Maulvi Hafiz Abdul Samad Boateng emphasized the mutual rights and obligations of spouses as enshrined in the Qur’an and Hadith, and highlighted the supportive role of Ansarullah in strengthening families and the Jama’at
Other speakers included Muallim Ibrahim Ahmad K. Arkoh (Retired Missionary), who spoke on “The essence of the Ansarullah pledge and its practical impacts in our life as a Nasir” while Mr. Sadick Otchere, the Mankessim Zonal Nazim gave the welcome address.
The Ijtema’a was chaired by Mr. Abdul Shakur Abekah (Naib Central Regional Nazim – Saf-dom).
