On Tuesday, 22nd July 2025, the Bolgatanga Central Mosque was filled with an atmosphere of brotherhood, faith, and dedication as Majlis Ansarullah Bolgatanga Zone convened its 2025 Annual Zonal Ijtemaa under the theme “Upholding the Majlis Ansarullah Pledge: The Role of a Nasir” . The event brought together seventy-eight devoted Majlis Ansarullah members from all six circuits of the zone. Their presence, marked by wisdom and steadfast loyalty to the Khilafat, set a spiritually uplifting tone for the day’s activities.
The Ijtemaa commenced with a warm and sincere welcome address from the Zonal Nazim, Mr. Abdul-Rasheed Zakaria, who expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Almighty Allah and underscored the significance of the gathering. Mr. Zakaria reminded the attendees that the Ijtemaa was more than a routine meeting, as it was a sacred occasion for remembering Allah, strengthening fraternal bonds, and spiritually recharging. He highlighted the pivotal role of Ansar members as mentors to the youth, protectors of their families, and exemplars of righteousness within their communities. Drawing upon the Holy Qur’an (Surah Al-Hashr 59:19) and a profound hadith from Bukhari and Muslim, “Each of you is a shepherd, and each of you is responsible for his flock,” he challenged members to consider the legacy they are shaping for future generations. The Zonal Nazim urged members to serve as an inspiration for the youth with utmost commitment to the cause of Islam Ahmadiyyat.
Alhaji Karim Jacob Jabong Duud Lambon delivered a compelling and heartfelt speech centered on the theme, “Upholding the Majlis Ansarullah Pledge – The Role of a Nasir.” His presentation offered a profound exploration of the Ansarullah Pledge, carefully analyzing it phrase by phrase to highlight the deep responsibilities it carries for every Nasir. He emphasized the pledge’s key elements as bearing witness to the Oneness of Allah, firmly propagating Islam Ahmadiyyat, unwaveringly upholding Khilafat, and diligently guiding one’s children to remain steadfast within the Jama’at. Alhaji Lambon encouraged self-accountability and reflection among the members by asking thought-provoking questions about their sacrifices, nurturing their children’s spiritual growth, and living according to the pledge they recite. He bridged theoretical understanding with practical advice, urging regular prayer and Qur’an recitation, consistent charity even during hardship, prioritizing health and stress management, active support of Jama’at initiatives, and cultivating gratitude and contentment. His message was a powerful call for Ansar members to renew their dedication and wholeheartedly recommit to serving Allah and the Khilafat, thereby strengthening the Jama’at’s spiritual vitality.
A second speech, on “Tarbiyyat to Our Families, Especially Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya” was delivered by Mr. Bashidudeen Yakub Hillia, who emphasized the fundamental importance of Tarbiyyat (spiritual training) within families, with a special focus on Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya. Mr. Yakub asserted that Tarbiyyat begins at home, where parents must lead by example through love, discipline, and prayer. He stressed that spiritual nurturing should be intentional and consistent, highlighting the critical role of instilling affection and loyalty towards Khilafat in the younger generation. He reminded Ansar members that the youth keenly observe their elders’ conduct and that a firm foundation of Tarbiyyat is essential for ensuring the continuity of faith across generations.
The 2025 Majlis Ansarullah Zonal Ijtemaa, attended by 78 members, was a spiritually enriching event, which was a reaffirmation of duty and a compelling inspiration to live by the pledge each member solemnly recites.
