On Thursday, November 27, 2025, Sadr Majlis Ansarullah Ghana, Alhaj Ali Muhammad Katu, received a special delegation from The Review of Religions at his office.
The delegation was in Ghana to lead a specialized training workshop for the Review of Religions teams from Ghana and Nigeria, aimed at strengthening capacity, enhancing collaborative work, and further advancing the global outreach of the historic magazine.
During the meeting, the delegation expressed deep appreciation to Sadr Sahib and the entire Majlis for the continuous support extended to the Review of Religions’ initiative. They commended the Majlis for actively encouraging members to subscribe to the magazine, for providing platforms to promote digital subscriptions, and for offering exhibition space during the National Ijtemaa in both 2024 and 2025. The team was especially grateful for the opportunity to address the Ansar at the recent Ijtemaa, a gesture that significantly enhanced their visibility and engagement with members.
In appreciation of the historic visit, Sadr Sahib presented the delegation with copies of Al-Noor Magazine, the biannual publication of Majlis Ansarullah Ghana, and honoured them by adorning each member with a beautifully crafted Ghanaian sash.
Among those present were Alhaj Mohammad Ali Katu, Sadr Majlis Ansarullah Ghana; Shahzad Ahmed Sahib, Associate Editor of The Review of Religions; Shamail Ahmed Sahib; and Hafiz Ayyuba Abdul-Mujeeb, National Coordinator for Nigeria. Representing the Ghana team were Maulvi Omar Gyasi, National Coordinator, and his colleague Maulvi Tahir Easah, who were instrumental in hosting the visiting delegation.

The Review of Religions was established in 1902 by the Promised Messiah and founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as). Its purpose was clear: to present the peaceful, rational teachings of Islam to the English-speaking world and to draw global attention to the advent of the Promised Messiah. From its earliest editions, the magazine served as a powerful intellectual platform, addressing misconceptions about Islam, engaging in scholarly interfaith dialogue, and promoting harmony among different faith traditions.
Over the past century, The Review of Religions has transformed into a vibrant global media organization, extending its reach beyond traditional print formats to social media, video content, podcasts, and multilingual online platforms, impacting millions across the globe. Its content consistently promotes values of peace, knowledge, justice, and spiritual enlightenment, staying true to its founding vision from 1902.
Majlis Ansarullah Ghana remains committed to supporting this noble effort, confident that such initiatives will further strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, enhance intellectual engagement, and promote the message of Islam Ahmadiyyat across the region.
