Majlis Ansarullah, Eastern Region held a 2-day rally at Nkawkaw on the 30th and 31st August 2024. The rally, which was the 26th Annual Eastern Regional Ijtemaa brought 114 participants from the AKim Oda Koforidua and Nkawkaw Zones for various physical and spiritual disciplines.
The rally which was chaired by Alhaj Ali Mohammed Katu, Sadr, Majlis Ansarullah Ghana was under the theme “The Future of Ahmadiyya, the Role of Ansarullah”.
Addressing the participants, Sadr Sahib outlined the programmes for the remainder of the year and urged members to diligently meet their financial commitments, especially by sincerely joining Chanda Wassiyat. He emphasized the importance of fulfilling their Tahrik-e-Jadid and Waqf-e-Jadid pledges and encouraged them to pay their national rally dues to ensure the smooth organization of the national Ijtemaa scheduled for October in Kumasi. Additionally, he reminded members to wear their prescribed uniforms during Jamaat functions. He congratulated the Majlis for the sacrifices offered to ensure the success of the rally.
Other National Aamla members who accompanied the Sadr to the regional Ijtemaa were Mr. Habib Suleiman, Naib Sadr Awwal, Abdul Noor Wahab, Naib Sadr Safe -e- Dom and Koforidua Zonal President, Alhaji Mohammed Yusuf Twumasi, Qaid Rukne Khususi, Mr. Abdul Samad Issah, Naib Sadr, Southern Sector and Alhaj Farouk Ali, Qaid Ithar. Speakers took the podium to admonish the gathering of the essence of revisiting the Majlis pledge and adhering to the directives from Hadrat Khalifat-ul – Masih (atb).
Among the inter-zonal sporting events were volleyball, table tennis, hit the target, 100m race and fill in the gallon while the academic competitions involved Quran Reading, Quran Memorization, Quiz, Hadith, and Azan.
